The steamship company will be fined $200 for each inadmissible alien brought here and will be required to pay back to the alien the money that he spent for his passage and take him back clear to the point whence he started without charge. There is the one exception. and thus they must show want of knowledge. That will be a sufficient lesson anI a sutficient law whereby there will be no more racing on the ocean for the purpose of entering under the wire first to land immigrants into the United States.
