I have no sympathy for an alien who has been here 50 years and has not become a citizen. You will not find much Americanism in such men. We have too many of that kind now. This bill adds two offenses to a long list already in the law the convictions for which authorize the deportation of aliens. Among them is Bolshevism. Thee is need of putting out of the country those who are not in sympathy with American institutionsmen who go around and preach the subversion of the Constitution of the country and in a hidden way trying to destroy the ideals of American life.
