Speech #670005140

I thank the gentleman for that information. In other words. under this bill there could come into the United States from thirty to thirtyfive thousand persons from what is now Poland. a country whose sons. irrespective of race or creed. fought side by side with ours as all ally in the Great War. while at the same time there could come in 125.157 immigrants from the central lations who are still at war with the United States. On behalf of American citizens whose relatives participated in this war. whose races participated in this war. I say they should be allowed to come in.
