Not now. My contention is that much of this immigration that has crowded itself upon us in the last 12 or 13 years has come here in the hope of a quick return. and too often not finding it. they are quick to charge that they have been deceived. and are quick to turn against this Government. And my friends. I am sorry to say it. but my belief is that if that is so in this great country of ours which has used up its natural resources so rapidly. we had better slow up production. slow the turning of the wheels. mine less coal. cut less trees. all to employ and to feed more and more people pouring in -from other countries. only to complain that they toiled to enrich the few.
