Speech #670004442

In the summer of 1918 I went over to -the other side as the chairman of the overseas commission. and whether there was a battle on or otherwise. I went where I could do" the most good. I was married and had a family. too.. and yet I did not come back and deliver speeches about it broadcast. because I recognized. as I have said. from boyhood. everywhere that the person who is a citizen of the United States. whether native or foreign born. owes everything lie possesses to our country. and when tie emergency comes. it is his duty to do. his most and utmost for our common country. M&Ir.. Chairman.
