It is two years and three months since the armistice. and yet in the year ending the 1st of July. 1920. there were only 430.000 admitted. and if you should undertake to get the net number of those who departed. you would find the net increase in our alien population during the year ending the 1st of July. 1920. was 141.000. Those figures do not indicate any danger of a flood. so far as the arrivals are concerned.
