I am in hearty accord with the general purpose of this bill. There are now entirely too many aliens in the United States who have not or will not become Americanized and are therefore a menace to our institutions. It is time to call at least a temporary halt to immigration so that better means may be found to instruct those who are already here in the essentials of good citizenship. Those who will not accept the instruction should be deported.. Tha people already occupying any country have the undisputedl right to say whether people from other lands shall share its opportunities with them. It follows therefore that no foreigner has any rights in or to America except those that we choose to give him.
