I demand. in the name of fair play and decency. that an uninfluenced expression of the public opinion reach the ballot box oi May 18 next uncontaminated and unpolluted by the sordid wealth of the conspirators. I serve public notice upon them that their plans are known. their leaders are imerked. and their contributions must become public property. I serve notice on the morocco king of Philadelphia. the largest employer of alien labor. who has urged the raising of a $50.000 corruption fund. that he and his associates are known amid will have to answer. I further serve notice upon them that the expenditure of $50.000 or any sum over and above the statutory limitation makes them. and each of them. amenable to the criminal law. and I invoke in behalf of the people of that district the relentless and untiring vigilance of the Department of Justice.
