(Vol. -. p. 299. vol. 2. pp. 9798.) I recently collected ligures showing 2.428 red conspirators against the Government. whose arrests were reported in one recetit issue of a daily paper. Of this 2.428. 2.088 were arrested in 1.3 States having more than onehalf of their population foreign born or their firstgeneratiouchildren . 235 came from States -having 15 to 50 per cent of their population foreign born and their firstgeneration children. and 5 came from States having 5 to 10 per cent of their population foreign born or their immediate children.
