Mr. President. if the Senator from South Dakota wvill permit ule. in answer to that I want to say that I have admired for a long time the doctrine of Americanism as preached by the Senator from Idlaho. We talk very lmuch about Americanism in this age. The best act of Americanism that I know anything about is the deportation of the few in our own country who despise the American Government and are constantly )reaching against it. I hope the Senator from Idaho will change his ilind and join withi me in attempting to obtain in this country t pure Americanism. undefiled by the vicious monsters who are going around. peaceably as they say. trying to uproot the Government of the United States.
