Mr. Chairman and gentlemen. we find a Member of this House reflecting upon people simply be. cause they were born in another country. good naturalized citizens. because they came here to petition Congress. Ah. I said the sons of those men went to the front and fought. and one of .the gentlemen who reflected upon these men. one of the Members of this House who reflected upon these citizens who came here exercising their lawful rights. while the boys of these foreignborn citizens were fighting and dying in Francethat gentleman. a Member of this House. although within the draft age. and a strong and healthy man. was safely tucked away in his office here in Washington.
