I think not. As to enforced deportationif the gentleman insists on that word. I use it without any sense of reflection on anybodyI think a Government employee who has come here to perform a particular task. when that task has passed away ought to go back to where he came from in the interest of the Government. in the interest of those who have to stay in the District of Columbia. and particularly in the interest of the employee himself or herself. And I can imagine no worse condition that could happen to most of the young women employees who have come here than to remain here after their employment has ceased.
