Mr. Chairman. this bill is a very simple one. and I think is selfexplanatory. Under section 19 of the existing immigration law anarchists who have been in the United States more than five years are not subject to expulsion. The main purpose of this bill is to remedy that defect in the present law. There is also a section of the bill which provides that those expelled under this act who return shall be guilty of a felony and are subject to imprisonment as such. This bill is very much desiredf by several of the departments. It was prepared by the cooperation of the Department of Labor and the Department of Justice.
