I can only say to the Senator that the Assistant ConnlisIoner of Naturalization told the conference committee that there were several such cases. I did not ask him how inny. I (to not myself know. I do not know to what extent it has been practiced. Of course. the lifficulty about it is in getting the evidence. That was why the Senator from Massachusetts insistod that we ought to just exclude them a!l arbitrarily by law. They may go to a consuls office. but we can never find it out. I think. however. I may say to ti Senator from Notth Dakota. on the assiranee of the Naturalization Bureau. that there have been eases wherth that has been done.
