I am going to show that the very association that is now here with this bill asking for the appropriation of $100.000 have heen in times past. and possibly are doing so now. sending out over this country thousands and hundreds of thousands of papers and docUmenIts at tile expense of the Government in tite franked envelopes of the Bureau of Education. In the list that was furnished us by tile Secretary of the Interior of the persons who were employed iii the Biltrean of Education at Washington and whose salaries were lpaid iii part by organizations other than the Federal Government are the names of H. H. Wheaton. at a salary of $2.500 a ye pa. tid by the Connittee for Immigrants in Anerica. F. E.
