President. my colleague [Mr. ASHIUI:ST] has presented and has had read into the RECORD a telegram. a copy of which was also sent to me. I have attempted three separate times to get the floor in order to presdnt a copy of that telegram to the Senate and to ask that it be read for the information of this body and in defense of the people themselves who have deported a certain number of people from the city of Bisbee. It is imnmaterial to me. so that the matter is in the RECORD. whether it be presented by my colleague or by myself. The present occupant of the chair was not presiding at the time when I attempted to obtain recognition to present the telegram.
