We had the Money Trust investigation. we had the Sugar Trust investigation. we had the Steel Trust investigation. we had the industrial investigation.. we had the immigration investigation. we had the Colorado coal strike and the Michigan copper investigation. and the Post Office Department was investigated in the Sixtysecond Congress. We have had seven investigations. and they covered over 100 volumes of testimony and hearings. costing countless thousands of dollars. and to this good day there is not a man. to :my knowledge. who has ever read .a single volmne of the testimony-. and in the line of legislation practically .nothing has been done.
