This is my position: The only interest I have in the matter Is to secure good legislation if possible. I will not. however. vote to bring up the immigration bill at this time. for the reason that I think the right of way belongs to another bill. namely. the revenue bill. but just as soon as that bill is out of the way. I shall by my vote and otherwise do what I can to bring on this floor for consideration the immigration bill. and help fight it out to a finish. SEVEIAL SENAToRs. Vote!
