President. I entered the Chamber only a few minutes ago. having been compelled to be out a short time on account of committee business. It seems there has been some discussion as to whether or not we shall have a vote on the immigration bill at this session. I wish to add to what has been said my very earnest declaration that we should have a vote on the immigration bill before the adjournment of the session. I am very emphatic and positive in that belief. I am also strongly in favor of action at this session upon the Owen corruptpractices act.
