I have expected myself. Mr. President. to make an effort in that direction by moving on some occasion. if the strategic parliamentary situatiodi seemed to justify it at all. the consideration of the immigration bill. and asking for a roll call upon it. Whether such an opportunity will be. presented I do not know. I am very much afraid that I will not be able to be present at all times when those opportunities might occur. but If such an opportunity does occur. although I should hesitate very much to do it. and would do it in a very humble and contrite spirit.
