The States are now preparing to quarantine against New York City because of infantile paralysis. It is a horrible disease. About 25 or 30 per cent of the cases are fatal. and I (I-) not think it is right to allow the city of New York to go into a governmental institution and use that building and then later have immigrants come there and occupy the building. when the greatest scientists of the country do not know whether it is a contagious disease or not. and in that way possibly permit the scattering of it all over the United States so that thousands of little children may be killed. I am going to object to it.
