It breathes an Inextinguishable spirit of patriotisn into the ingenuous bosom. and bids the Amncrican youth remember and be grateful for the inestimable privileges he is destined to enjoy under the freest and happiest Government on earth. privileges which he would not sacrilice to any foreign authority. a Government in defense of which lie would. regard It the noblest act to die. if necessary. at the cannons liouth. The college. of which the corner stone has just been placed will rear up its walls for an education proper to the soil and constitution of the State in which it is situated.
