Mr. President. I do not want to be placed in the situation of the newly arrived immigrant who came to this land. Wien he was asked whether he was a Republican or a Democrat lie said that lie did lont know but that he was " agin the Government." I do not want to be " agin the Government." nor tm I. but I ai unallterably against the bill. Vhether it may be termed a Government bill or not. it is a committee bill. I have stated miny times before il this Clamber that I believe the wise system to prevail in this country is Government ownership Iin this great utility construction and ill running great utilities. and I particularly believe that with reference to this great waterpower problem.
