Yes. but if the objection made by the Senator from Iowa and now made by the Senator from Tennessee is good. it is because we are passing a law here which is a Federal statute and they claim we can not give jurisliction to a State court to carry it out. Naturalization is peculiarly a Federal right. given to Congress by the Constitution. No State has any jurisdiction or authority to pass any law on the subject. Here we have a State corporation to which the provision applies. Why should we not permit or rather compel the State corporation to go into a State court?
