For years the importation of Mexican laborers under contract has resulted in driving ninny of our own laborers from remunerative employment without any compensating benefit. and has resulted in a demand for the enactment of the prohibitory legislation provided in this measure. The Committee on hmaigration. and- the splendid chairman of that committee.
