Here is one that I picked up which shows a highway of that class extending from Canada to the Mexican line. A meeting was. held at Excelsior Springs and presided over by Judge Low. Mr. Buffam. the State highway commissioner. was present. as was also Col. E. M. Harber. Trenton. Mo.. supposed to be the selection of President Wilson for collector of internal revenue. I find that Mr. Caminetti. the Commissioner of Immigration. has advocated a road of this kind along the Mexican border and the Rio Grande River. evidently a peacock boulevard. There are goodroads associations In every State in the Union. from three to a dozen. In addition to that there are a number of national associations.
