Eagerly. anxiously. impatiently do his wife and children bide the time when the prison doors shall open for him. At last the day comes when the term of his imprisonment has expired. the day to which he and his loved ones have looked forward for months. perhaps years. Behond. the law steps in. and tells him that he is a felon. that he must be deported . that the law will tear him away from wife and children. leaving them to the mercies of a rude world. Can you imagine the heartrending scene which then ensues? The State erects a barrier between him and those nearest and dearest to him.
