I can not yield any further. I have only 15 minutes. I wish to say to you gentlemen that the time is at hand for us to shut down on the foreign immigration that comes into this country. You talk about the literacy test. I can not conceive of that test being sufficient. This bill does not go far enough as it is. Can we expect to maintain this country if we propose to admit 1.400.000 people to come In here every year? Where will we be? We now have 100.000.000 people in the United States. and every year that you bring in 500.000 from the Mediterranean. like you have dumped on us within the last 12 months. you are bringing into the community something that is bound to have a bad effect.
