The gentleman from Alabamla [Mr. BUPNETTI. chairman of the Committee o Immigration. rushed this bill through the Committee on Inmigration faster than I have ever seen any bill rushed through that committee. Ile held that committee together day after day. until one day lie held it from 10 oclock in the imorning until 2 oclock the next morning. only to continue the consideration of the bill at 10 oclock of the same morning.
