Mr. Chairman. one of the great problems we will be called upon to solve in the future Is how to produce enough on our farms to feed our immense population. The population of this country Is Increasing at the rate of 2.000.000 each year. and of this 2.000.000 a million and a half are immigrants coming here from all parts of the world. and those of you who are informed on the subject of immigration know that but very few. if any. of this immigrant population will go upon the farm and till the soil. Yet this vast number of people must be fed.
