The bill was fully discussed in every stage. and ealne back twice front conference The President has rested his objections on the single point of the literacy test. and has referred us to the accolopanying letter of the Secretary of Colmmnierce and Labor for his reasons. There are no reasons offered in that letter which have not been considered constantly during the last 20 years the question has been before Congress. and it seelils to ine there is no reason why we should not ilill tliately dispose of the question stated by the Chair. I do not myself wish to discuss the nialter at all.
