Speech #620267165

I listened to the gentleman from Texas . who said that the immigration that is coming here is incapable of assimilation. and I want to say that I can not understand from what examination and upon what phase of that question he draws the deduction that he presents here. for after all. Mr. Chairman. the study of the Italian race is the most interesting study for persons who desire full and complete knowledge of all that is best in art. in literature. in science. and in government.
