There are a large number of bill. I think over 100 bills on the Union Calendar. 70 to 80 bills on the House Calendar. which might be reached in the ordinary course of business with the right on the part of cominittees to call up bills reported from the committees on the House Calendar. and the right of the House to call up for consideration any bill* on the Union Calendar. but the bills that are not included in this resolution might well. be placed in a category where all hope is lost.
