So far as the committee is concerned they supposed and believed they were taking over to the Bureau of Labor all of the Immigration Service. and so far as I know there is no law creating the division the gentleman has reference to. If the adoption of the amendment gives a legal status to that division which it does not now have. then there might be some doubt as to whether it ought to be accepted or not. If it does not give any more legal status to it than it has now. I have no objection to tile anendment.
