I am one of those. Mr. Chairman. who believe that too many of some classes of immigrants are coming to this country. but I do not think that fact is germane to this discussion. I think that we are going outside the purview of a legitimate discussion of this bill by entering upon the question as to whether there should be a restriction of immigration or not. I believe that immigration is right so far as those whom I think ought to come is right. and as long as those come there ought to be comfortable quarters for them. Hence. Mr.
