I now introduce a joint resolution containing precisely the same provisions. and I ask for its present consideration. The joint resolution (S. R. 10) authorizing the rental of offices in the District of Columbia for the use of the Immigration Commission was read the first time by its title and the second time at length. as follows: Re8olved. etc.. That the Immigration Commission created by section 39 of an act entitled "An act to regulate the immigration of aliens into the United States." approved February 20. 1907. is hereby authorized to rent offices in the DIstrIct of Columbia. at an expense not to exceed $2.500 per annum. to be paid as provided In said act and section.
