I have seen that newspaper in New York call on the Hebrews in my district. and there are plenty of themthere are two synagogues I know of in my district. and there are possibly many morethey have called upon them to denounce me and oppose this bill. I have sent them copies of a true statement. and not one resolution of denunciation has been gotten up by any Hebrew in my district. A Hebrew is too intelligent to be long deceived. When this thing is properly understood they will know that the blow is not aimed at any race. It is aimed simply and solely at numbers and at undesirable immigrants.
