Speech #590098595

Chairman. under this bill. after the petition is filed. the final order maynot be made until ninety days. In another provision of the bill an appeal may be taken within fortyfive days after the date of the final order. Another part of the bill provides that no certificate of naturalization may be granted within thirty days of a general election. Now. I assume that after a petition is filed the court would not make the final order until the last of the ninety days. and the appeal in many cases would not be entered until the last of the fortyfive days limited by law.
