Mr. Chairman. some time agoto be accurate. on December 13. 1905--1 Introduced in this House a resolution calling on the Secretary of State for all letters. dispatches. documents. correspondence. papers. and information between this Government and AustriaHungary in the case of Marcus Braun. a special immigration inspector of the United States. who was arrested at the instigation of the AustroHungarian Government in Budapest. in the month of May. 1905. while in the performance of his official duties in that country. That arrest was unwarranted and unjustifiable. and the AustroHungarian Government subsequently apologized for the arrest and reprimanded its officials who caused it. The resolution. sir.
