R. 73) amending an act entitled "An act to regulate the immigration of aliens into the United States." approved March 3. 1903. was read the first time by its title. and the second time at length. as follows: Resolved. etc.. That the words "Secretaryof the Treasury." wherever used in the act entitled "An act to regulate the immigration of aliens into the United States." approved March 3. 1903. or in amendments thereto. or in prior acts in relation to alien immigration. be stricken out and the words Secretary of Commerce and Labor" inserted in lieu thereof.
