I wish to state at this time. not only for the information of this House. but so that it may go into the RECORD for the information of others. just what obtains in the entry and inspection of aliens into the United States through the Canadian frontier. as prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury in accordance with section 8 of an act approved March 3. 1891. entitled "An act in amendment to various acts in relation to immigration and inspection of aliens under contract or agreement to perform labor. etc." First. All aliens arriving in Canada destined to the United States are inspected at the following ports: Halifax. Nova Scotia.
