So all that is simply. in my judgment. a bugbear gotten up to frighten people from voting for an efficient and valuable bill. If this bill did not have the support of the Government officials who have been dealing with this subject. who I believe are reputable gentlemen. I should hardly speak of it with the positiveness I do. even if my judgment was. as it is. that it is the best bill which has ever been offered on this subject. and that it is not an objectionable bill from the standpoint of any man who desires to have an exclusion act passed.
