The brain of the American. the brawn. of the American. the best that is in the American character. inherited from all the nations of the earth and welded together to constitute a liberal man with unity of purpose and great patriotism. applying his powers to the development of this country and to the development of its trade. have done more to make this country respected as a world power than all the wars. than all the attempts at civilizing and assimilating foreign people than has ever been done since we went into this colonization and assimilation business.
