Under reciprocity her population five or ten years hence will be much less desirable for annexation than it is now. composed as it will be of Chinese and other imported cheap laborers. By coming into our political union Cuba will immediately secure the highest degree of freedom enjoyed anywhere upon the earth. and with it a large market for her varied products.
