Fortunately. and inevitably. the adventurers fled to other fields. and the true Dakotans have come to their inheritance. and today South Dakota presents to the world a opulation not anywhere surpassed for the virtues of honesty integrity. an industry. a people intelligent and Godfearing. who are worklng out i the sunny south State a destiny as grand as that which crowns any of her elder sisters in the Unions galaxy. In the ranks of this opulation are found the sons of all the older States. and welcome immigrants rem the countrieof northern Europe. who are speedily becoming in the fullest sense t~pical American citizens. For the purpose of giving some idea of the wealth produced in the State of South Dakota.
