I have an article here which I can not readI should like to read it. but I will print itfrom the Journal of the Knights of Labor. That great organization hasdeclared unequivocally for this bill and for the restriction of immigration. Here are the resolutions of the American Federation of Labor. addressed to this Congress: We urge the adoption of a reasonable law to restrictundesirable immigration. such law to be based upon an educational qualification.
