The report of the CommissionerGeneral I maintain that wherever a people have organized a revolution of -Immigration. which has recently been placed upon thedesk of beyond that of a riot. an insurrection. and have organized agov- each:Senator and is not yet published in its entirety. will afford erment which shows its power of maintaining itself by asserting information which I opine -will very materially determine the its dominion and control of any considerable portion of the tern- minds of Senators upon this questionwho have not had an opportory of a state for any considerable period of time. theyhave a -tunity togive it consideration. and to -whom it will be impossible properly to present the question at the present time without the Iformation thus afforded in the report. I make the suggestion from a consideration of the further fact that there are several Senators who desire to be heard on the bill who are not now prepared. but who will be prepared at the time designated. Therefore I most earnestly ask the Senator from Massachusetts that he will accede to what I regard as a reasonable request.
