They have beon working steadily for their employers for years. and their employers make every effort to retain their service. One old Oregonian who has long been established out West writes us that wbusiness is rotten out lcre. It is sad to see the same wail of distress from the far. far West that we hear so much of in the East. a condition that has existed only under a Denocratic administration that threatens to overthrow the entire industrial and economical affairs of the United States. and that threatens to snp. plant American institutions and their output with the products of foreign factories made by tihe cheap pauper labor. Such a condition cau not last long in America. but it has already lasted too long.
