The Government has stepped up its attack on the Israeli Government and its policies. no doubt in part to further ostracize those who wish to emigrate there. Emigration has plunged to its lowest level since 1963. Only 1.314 Soviet Jews seeking exit visas were permitted to leave. During last Augusts recess I visited with approximately 30 refuseniks.
