Sir. the people of the United States repudiated both him and his majority in this House. The 170odd Republican votes. including the 8 obtained by fraud in the Fiftyfirst Congress. were reduced to 87 in the Fiftysecond Congress. where the gentleman received the disapproval of the highest court in the landthe people of the United States.
